We design inclusive spaces people love to work in.

Micdee is a workspace design and build consultancy based in Lagos, Nigeria. Since 2017, we have partnered with over 100 organisations; from fast-growing startups to multinational corporations to design and deliver workspaces that perform as well as they look.

We believe the environments people work in shape who they become so every project we take on, regardless of size or sector, is approached with the same rigour, the same standard, and the same conviction that great design is not a luxury but a business advantage.

Our work spans workplace strategy, interior design, and full construction delivery across Nigeria and West Africa.

Values

Our values are like a compass that shows us the direction we want to go in and who we want to be. They shape the way we work and how we interact within ourselves and with others. We aim to embody these values, which are ambitious yet purposeful, in everything we do.

Build for the future

We design for longevity. Every space we create is built to serve the people who use it today and adapt to the needs of those who will use it tomorrow, without compromising on its impact on the environment.

Collaborate!

Great workspaces are never the product of one mind. We work in close partnership with our clients, and we actively seek out collaborations with exceptional professionals whose expertise makes our work better.

Never compromise on quality

We hold the same standard regardless of project size, client budget, or deadline pressure. Every detail matters. Every specification is intentional. This is not something we negotiate.

Humans First

Every decision we make; in design, in construction, on site starts with the people who will live and work in the space. Their wellbeing, comfort, and experience are never an afterthought.

Campaigns, Events and CSR

Often, we collaborate with nonprofit organisations on projects and campaigns to reach a marginalised community or expand the potential of existing communities. We are always inspired to utilise our design principles to do more for our environment to inspire the people around us to be more and do more.

Till date, we have worked with a few organisations not limited to the United Nations World Food Programme on their Zero Hunger Pitch Event and Dreamcode Africa on creating a tech-enabled hub to educate, mentor and inspire high school students.

World Food Programme Zero Hunger Sprint Pitch Event 2021

A collaboration with the United Nations World Food Programme in conjunction with Innovation Accelerator and the Zero Hunger Roundtable to host a pitch day event for selected innovators across Nigeria to facilitate private sector startup connections and a chance to win $50,000 funding for vetted startups.

We created an authentic and uplifting event that communicated the initiative’s drive towards a wider Zero Hunger discourse and its support for forward thinking innovators who are tackling these issues.

Dreamcode Foundation

A collaboration with Dreamcode Africa to launch a tech-enabled learning center in Ota, Ogun state as first of many centers to be created in other parts of the country and in Africa.

Dreamcode reaches children and youth through a S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) based after-school program and invests in mentoring high school students to be leaders and role models.
