When Mar & Mor required a new office in Lagos to serve their clients they turned to Micdee to provide design and delivery leadership. The new HQ was born out of a necessity of a client services organisation having a befitting location to showcase their capabilities to their potential customers and also reassure their clientele that their standards are unwavering.
Micdee was engaged as a workplace design partner and subcontractor on selected works to assist with achieving this goal. From the first meeting, quality and competence were touted as the success drivers for the project and these influenced every decision made by all stakeholders during the course of the entire project.

Mar & Mor is one of Nigeria’s fastest growing MEP companies with projects across the country and an enviable client base. Their access to world class mechanical, electrical and plumbing fixtures and fittings meant we got to collaborate with the industry’s finest in designing how the facility ran.
From the exquisite lighting fixtures to the HVAC fittings and implementation, we trusted our client to deliver on world class quality that only meant our designs would be executed with the finest workmanship.
In addition to having an amazing work experience, the client wanted their visitors and would-be clients to see their competence first hand which meant we had to approach our workplace strategy as that of an experience centre. MEP fixtures were brought to the fore where they would have been hidden behind walls and ceilings to showcase excellent detailing.
Human-centric Design
The result of this project is a dynamic work experience that celebrates Mar & Mor’s strides in the industry whilst giving her team an excellent platform to create great work. Alluring art pieces adorn the all white walls and provide improved sightlines and conversation opportunities across the office.
An emphasis on human-centric design is reflected in the abundance of spaces offering socializing and wellness focus, including private meeting booths, phone pods, a gym and a restaurant to be delivered later.
The office cascades across three mezzanine floors that create a dynamic circulation experience between all floors and glass was employed as one of the key building materials to ensue natural lighting spreads through the entire office during daytime.
