Founded in 2011, Maxitech Global Investment Limited set out with a clear mission: to provide unparalleled IT products and services to enterprises seeking seamless, uninterrupted operations across Nigeria. Over more than a decade, they have grown into a dynamic, fast-rising IT distribution and enterprise support services provider — delivering a comprehensive suite of solutions, from hardware and software distribution to cloud services and enterprise consulting, serving as a bridge between world-class technology manufacturers and organisations across multiple sectors.
When Maxitech decided to establish a dedicated headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos; the heart of Nigeria’s tech commerce ecosystem, they came to us with a brief that reflected that duality: a space that could serve as both a high-performing work environment for their specialist team, and a customer-facing retail hub where clients could engage directly with the technology Maxitech champions. The mandate was to design a global-standard space that makes the brand tangible, without losing the precision and professionalism that define it.

The People Behind the Solutions
At Maxitech, the team is driven by a commitment to quality, innovation, and exceptional service; empowering clients with the tools they need to compete globally. This ethos shaped how we approached the workspace. Through a careful study of how the team operates not limited to their workflows, client interactions, and brand culture, we built a design language around three principles: Simplicity, Functionality, and Professionalism. The result is an environment that reflects the clarity Maxitech brings to their clients’ technology challenges: uncluttered, purposeful, and precise. A space that is as demanding as the work itself, while remaining genuinely inspiring.
Where Work Meets Commerce
What makes this project distinct is its dual identity. Maxitech is a one-stop shop for IT needs: computers, laptops, gadgets, and accessories, serving both retail and corporate clients.
The front-of-house retail area was designed to reflect exactly that: an immersive brand environment where walk-in clients can explore products, test devices, and engage with consultants, all in a setting that mirrors the precision and forward-thinking ethos of the Maxitech brand.
Transparent glass partitions draw the eye into the active workspace beyond, communicating openness and the depth of expertise behind every product on the shelf. Retail lighting, digital interfaces, and signage are calibrated to feel as intuitive as Maxitech’s own service offering, ensuring the brand story flows unbroken from the customer floor into the workspace, and back again.
The Results
The 220 sqm Maxitech Headquarters, completed in 2024, is a unified environment in which work, product distribution, and customer engagement coexist. Open-plan collaboration zones, private strategy rooms, and flexible modular layouts give the team the space to operate at full capacity today, and to grow into tomorrow.
Bespoke retail fixtures, demo units, and ergonomic workstations were all selected and fabricated to serve both staff and visitors, each piece intentional, on-brand, and built to perform. Maxitech is not just an IT distributor, they are a catalyst for progress. The new headquarters makes that ambition visible.
